I have a 08. I was wondering if u all have a rubber mat in the box of yours. Is it a good thing to have or should I take it out.

I just covered mine with carpet. makes it easier to slide things like golf clubs in and out. if I need to haul anything that would cause a mess, ican just pull the carpet and or mat.

Should I leave it in all the time. Or take it out when don't need it.

I just leave it. helps quiet the rid too. Unless your cover leaks of course, then I would not leave it in. wet carpet Bad 😱

It's not carpet it rubber I'm not really sure if it leaks or not. But it was damp so when we get rid of this snow I will just have to clean out the back and find out. Ty

If it is the OEM mat, with the tire tread pattern, it is part of the water management system. Leave it in.
Of course removing the mat occasionally to clean underneath and to clear the bed drains is a good idea.

i agree with GoldBowTie, leave the factory mat in the bed to help with drainage.
