I live in Yakima and I am new to owning an Avalanche. I would like to know about get togethers and will email you my info shortly.

Email(s) sent......

I'm in Western Wa., but I like what they guy from Yakima said about hookin' up at Bumping Lake sometime. That's a beautiful place. Might be getting late in the year to do that, but sounds fun sometime.

But wherever you decide to meet, I'm down. Thanks!

Maybe not........ Postmaster kicked my email back at me..... Hope I didn't miss the boat and the meets are like "over" or somethin'......    ?

Welcome 1123ace!  :welcome:

The GTG scene has been rather quite this late in the year. We normally post something in the Washington area whenever one is scheduled or someone wants to propose one. So you don't have to be a CC officer to get a GTG going, but the  CC's and myself would help make it happen.

Hello everyone,

New to the forum here. I bought my 07 Greystone Metallic LTZ back in 2010 and absolutely love it. ID like to attend some meets as well! Im located out on Whidbey Island.
Have a good one!

I am a brand new Chevy Avalanche owner. Bought a Black one for $4,500 dollars with 79,000 miles!! The previous owner smoked in it but I spend a week cleaning it out so now it is pretty fresh!! I am in Yakima and tried to send an email but got a negative contact. I joined this fan club about a month and a half ago and it has already been a big help!!

You are already on the list. What did you use to kill the smoke smell?

I'm a newbie and wanted to say hello! Just got an Black 08 Avy and live near Olympia.

Welcome to the club idbeast.  :welcome:

You live right next door to where we have out first GTG each year, Cabelas. Probably won't be until early April depending on rain or not.

I will send an email tomorrow but traded in my Sierra on an 08 Avy today. Been a member for awhile but just now getting back into an Av after 9 long years.

Just saying hi.

Robert

Actually, this one is setup pretty nice, already has an aftermarket exhaust, GM Performance Air intake and Predator programmer, and it is another Orange one!

And it does feel good, when I bought my GMC in October of 07 from Dave Smith, I actually had went there to purchase an Avy, but the one they had wasn't equipped right and I didn't want the LTZ as it was way more than I wanted to spend.

Looks good, are those aftermarket rims?

I think they are stock rims but it looks like they have a smoked orange paint applied.  Not really sure but they match the truck :D. I havent done anything but drive it home, I just picked it up yesterday!

Well enjoy it Robert, you are now on the list.

Guess I best join in on this too, would love to get to some meets. Just picked up my 02 2500 a few weeks ago, and I appear to be one of fairly few members from spokane, or just eastern washington, for that matter.

Howdy all; I'm up here in Okanogan and sure seems to be a lot of those 1500 models around.  I have a 2500 SOMII and with only 39 made in 2005 I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in this area with this color. I have spoken to a few of the owners around here as I was interested in learning if they bought their Avalanche because of what it is or because of some other reason.  In my opinion, you sure can tell the difference between those who are Avalanche lovers and those who just use it for transportation. Nothing wrong with the latter category rather just interesting.

:welcome: Welcome Guys.  :welcome:

Thanks for posting. Yes it is easy to see who loves their AV just by looking at it. Even those who have not modded, them but put a lot of TLC in them.
