Hi, everyone...This is my 1st post here. I don't even own an Avalanche yet but should have it this Saturday.
This is a nice Forum.
I have to admit that I went to my local Chevy Store to look at (darn it, I couldn't decide) Trucks and Tahoes. I am a big guy at 6'7" and my salesman said..."Didja ever consider an Avalanche?"
Well, my sister in law has one and LOVES it coming from a 1998 Silverado extended cab Z71. My little brother said, "Drive one and you will see how great it is."
I told the sales guy...let's have a look.
Well, several hours later and I am no longer looking for a "used" Tahoe or new extendo pick up but I am picking out a Light Pewter Metallic Z71 loaded for bear!
What a sweet ride, hydroformed frame rails, rear window comes out...I am preaching to the choir, right?
(Can't tell I am excited, can you?)
Well anyway...anything I should look out for? What are the must have first mods.

C'mon credit union with that loan...I spent all day yesterday trying to MAXIMIZE (biggie siz, king size, SUPERSIZE) my trade in value...
