I am ordering samples of these with a black base.
Two white, for cargo lites in the third brake panel and two red for location tdb. Maybe the same panel or in the bumper steps.

This is a local manufacturing company but they will allow small quantities for samples. They will charge $64 for the four lights! The cost of being different. I tried a local distributer but they will only sell in lots of 25. (25 X $16)

Pics will come when done.... :B:

Looking forward to seeing the install.

It would be nice to find directional (like the map lights) ones for the cargo area.

How do you power these ? Or are they like a normal light hookup ? I would like to do something like you are talking about. I miss that feature when I had my truck , turning on the cargo and lighting up the area around it. Also could the system be able to hold say 15 of these lights ?

ive been really wanting to do just this same thing, and ive been looking for lights to do it.

ive been wanting to drill into the sail panel and put them facing the cargo area, mostly to be used for loading and unloading mtn bikes from my TXAVy bed rack at nite.

theres another thread on here about rear facing lights that has some useful info in it, but this is more specifically what i wanna do.

definately will be interested in seeing pics and hearing how bright they are. i notice they say the leds are meant for indication by can be used for illumination for certain applications.

this may be just what i want. i want something to give me enough light to mount my bikes but dont wanna get constantly blinded.
