NIAGARA FALLS GTG III!!!!!!!!

Well, SS I honestly think you, Mr. Bill and uhm the other guys did a great job and I know it is impossible to please everyone, I sincerely believe you guys have been doing your best to make these events happen, one of the things I didn't like about this park is that my family kept finding me  :E: (my wife will kill me when she reads this)
I know a convoy is difficult in that area, some where leaving at different times and it was hard to keep everyone still for a moment.

Actually, if there is anything that I can do to help from here, I'd be glad to pitch in.

We had several extra volunteers this year, and it really helped lighten the load. Many will remember how stressed out we were last year. This year it was much better, because of the help we had.

Next year, I plan on asking for even more volunteers. The more people that help out, the less each person has to do, and the more everyone can enjoy the event.

? We'll see if we can include some hiding places next year. ;)

Actually, people leaving at different times was part of the plan. Last year we got into a little trouble with the police for having the Niagara Parkway backed up for miles when we went to the park as a single large group.

We had looked into getting a police escort, but they required expensive insurance policies and hourly pay rates that would've added around $50 per Avalanche to the registration fee. That is simply out of the question.

The practical solution was to keep the convoys to smaller groups, so as not to cause traffic problems.

We had a great time also.  I kinda thought the smaller groups where fun.  Our group going in one direction, lost  :p, seeing a bunch of Avs going the other way, joining them, then find out we're all going the wrong way.  Ever see 10 Avs doing  syncronized 3 point turns  ;D.

Now getting lost in NY, on the Toll Hwy with $3 US going in the wrong direction, now that wasn't fun  :E:.

Driving around lost at a AV GTG is common practice here in Ontario.  I can't think of one yet where we got to where we where going with out a little side trip or two.

The same holds true this time, Dacar's Directions where flawless, we just did not follow them!

As for NF III ***As the saying goes "can't wait, can't wait".  (I still think this should be on the TEE Shirt! for III)

I have been asked to do the shirts again next year so any idea's would be great.  I do have to say that the I even thought the shirts looked nice and colorful.

Next year just post the can't wait, can't wait.  Just incase I do not remember.

I also would just like to add that there were several people that wanted shirts that did not pre order them so I have put up apost in the NF t-shirt thread where they can post their order and if I can get at least 12 I will reorder more.

I thought the park was good, dirty and buggy but not bad.  What I thought would have been cool would be all the AV's in a circle (tailgates facing center) with the food tent in the middle.  Since alot of us where tailgating anyway, at least with this setup we all would be around each other and the food / music.  I know this would be hard to do, and would need a large area, but it would be cool.

Committe: Keep up the great work  :B:

It was 8. I know Because I was there when we started to run out of shots, and Mini-Yak was getting huffy because he wanted to have the most shots of screech so I had 7 and he had 8. And that's all that I am talking about my drinking.

We won't make the same mistakes twice, we'll make entirely new ones.

it's not called making mistakes, it's learning new ways.. just like it's not called getting lost, it's finding other routes ;) it's the same for me.. it's not a gtg unless i get lost at least once..

count me in for NF III! (was there any doubt?) and sign me up to help out again.. it's the least i can do for u guys..

Yep, what's that old saying? "If we learn from our mistakes, then I must be the smartest person on earth!"

Whoever said that, must've been talking about me. :2:

just like it's not called getting lost, it's finding other routes

I thought the new term was "Navigationally challenged" >:D

and sign me up to help out again.. it's the least i can do for u guys..

You got it! See? It wasn't that bad... get enough people to help, and no one person has to go overboard and do too much work. (y)

Thanks for your help. Counting ballots last year was a real pain in my butt. But this year, it was so easy for me. All I had to do was ask you to do it! >:D

LMAO!! I think a few people had a VERY good time finishing off those last 40 or so shots of SCREECH!!!  :2:

Well, we will have to go to Niagara Falls GTG III, cause at NF GTG I I got the crome door handles from bikerchick and I installed them 4 days prior to NF GTG II ,  at NF GTG II I got the White Knight Back Up lights as a door price , so if I plan on going to NF GTG III I have a timeline to get those installed, at least 4 days rpior to the GTG. >:D

Why rush it? It's an easy enough install that you can do it the night before you leave! >:D
