The East Coast Regional Meet is June 6th-8th so we may want to leave that weekend open.

Paintball was one of my suggestions, but I have to work both weekends suggested and Scooby's birthday is June 22.
It might be hard to get everyone for a entire weekend, many of our regulars have family.
Keep me updated if the dates change.

I'm game...depending on the dates set..I would like to do both or either or....I have never done the paintball thing or rafting...so this would be exciting and a new experience.....ok..now I'm starting to sound like a Carnival Cruise line commercial....

I've never done either, but I just got over a fear of water about a year ago, so I'm good for rafting. And, after years of playing computer games, I should be pretty good at Paintball.

Count me in for the Paint Ball and White Water Rafting.
Just so you know I am an awesome shot with most Long Rifles, Beretta .380, Colt Defender .45 Auto, and Glock 17 9mm's. Can I bring em 
Anyway I'm sorry that I missed the Bowling GTG. I had Rugby Practice and I really had to be there.
I went White Water Rafting at Jim Thorpe River Valley a few years back at the end of April. It was 18 miles of some of the East Coast's best white water. The end of April is the best time to go for this place because that is when the mountain run off is at it's strongest. They provide the wet suit. You will get wet and you will get cold.
If you have a certain spot picked already then cool. If you need a place check out Jim Thorpe. They are also located in PA.
Oh and wear lots of padding Manny, I'll give you the luxury of choosing before hand what color you want to be at the end of the paint ball tourny!! ?

Well it was nice knowing Powersurge, But after paintball if Manny becomes a nice shade of painted pink. ?Could be very posible that we may never see Bill again
alright all u gumba's.. there's another paintball possiblity esp. for those of you in s. jersey/pa who are getting tired of driving all the way up here.. (yes even in an av u can get tired.. lol) maybe we can get some of the DE people involved in this one as well??
a friend of a friend of mine owns this place.. it's minutes from the lebanon state forest if anyone wanted to make it a weekend paintball/camping event (sorry don't know of any whitewater around there, but there is always great adventure's adventure rivers!) i just emailed them to find out what it would cost us as a group (i'm hoping for a deal we'll see.. )
it's just another suggestion/possibility/option to explore.. i'll let y'all know when/if they get back to me.. only problem with this one is having my av packed with family cuz everyone i've mentioned this to is like "cool when we going?"

btw.. just realized i've been to the pocono whitewater rafting offices before.. but not for the whitewater, it was the bike trails..
i did the lehigh river gorge ride a few years ago and had a blast! for anyone thinking about it, the views are worth it!

Oh, I forgot to mention that I belong to a gun club myself and I do shoot a .357 S&W model 66 and I have a few other guns and rifles around the house.

hmm... it'd be worth $10 a piece to do it.. no no no we couldn't do that.. it ranks right up there with scamming backpacks and "borrowing" flags..
anyway back to my original reason for posting.. i was cruising stickergirl.com and spotted a paintball decal on there.. if the paintball weekend is a big draw maybe we could get some made? i know i'd love to have something to show for spending the day getting shot at! (nope, i've never fired a gun unless u count the one included with a nintendo for duck hunt
)i've attached a mock up.. it's just the original from stickergirl.com with some little touches for an idea.. for a few dollars a piece i'm willing...

I don't think it will take that much. I think that if you and I position it right that we can make $100 from her. We'll do the Hog Tieing and she can do the shooting.
