Do you have a Multimeter?2002 north face.. brand new battery and brand new alternator and I am still not getting 14v when truck is running... when running I only get battery volts and no the truck or battery does not die...
Thanks for the video. Yes I did all that besides the brown wire... also the two wires from alt to pcm is good and red wire from alt to battery is also good... like the guy said maybe my pcm is no good...Do you have a Multimeter?
So I did the brown wire test like on the video and I got 10 amps... looked at the pcm and found a white wire broken so I disconnected the pcm fixed the wire and reconnected the pcm.. I started up the truck and now I have 14v... now something I dont understand is all wires in the engine bay has 14v but I have no 14v inside the cab? can anyone with a 2002 north face confirm if they have 14v inside the cab?? ThanksHave you had alternator tested?
2002 has a lot of things different then later years and computers and CAN protocols is one of the major differences.
2002 were simple trucks... I would lean towards bad alternator
