I have 2002 black NFE, 99K (original miles -by me). Almost no rust for NY weather. Always parked outside. Couple small rust bobbles on the front of the hood. some clear coat peel off. Couple scratches on the cladding (city parking and driving). Cladding weathering out- like an old person has gray hear.
I bought the AV in 2002. Than I bought a house with garage in 2004. Garage a foot to short to park AV inside. Damn city lots!
I upgraded break rotors to 14" in 2004. Original 17" wheels wont feet (I have original 17" wheels in good shape with cups, tires wont hold air, due to age). I install 20" wheels with radicles offset (-10) and 295/50-R20 tires (had to cut inner fender plastic and install steering stabilizer). Planning to install 18" from late Chevy models.
One time parked AV in Roosevelt Island at school dismiss time. One kid tried to peel off the NF sticker from the side of my truck. I asked why are you doing this and kid replied something -why not, what a big deal- it is just a sticker.
Ah-memories!
