Northface Color?

Somebody here has a SOM, they said it is very rare. I think he said there were only 4 made or something like that.

You can get the Northface Edition in all of the colors.

The special Medium Sage Green Metallic for the Northface will no longer be available after Dec 2002.

All North Face interiors are the same irrespective of body color. 2002 were two-tone, cedar green and medium charcoal and the 2003's are two-tone gray. Here is a link to the Chevy Avalanche site.

The 2002 North Face Edition was not available in all the colors. It was offered in Medium Sage Green Metallic, Pewter, Sunset Orange, Onyx Black, Summit White. It was not available in Indigo Blue, Victory Red or Forest Green. I have not heard anything as of yet for 2003 North Face livery other than Sage Green will be dropped and yellow will take its place early next year.

thats not true... :eek: :eek: my friend has a red, north face with two tone grey and red high lights running down the center, and if you still don't believe me i got a photo to prove it...

You better tell Chevrolet because that information came from them, red! Is your friends a 2003 perhaps? It looks gray rather than green. The red on the side of the back door isn't right either. You know as well as I that anything can be done in photoshop.
 
no it's a '01... if you can call it that, it's the truck that won me over into buying an avalanche. it's totally tricked out. it even has the high mounted fog lights near the roof rack. and ask anybody here.. me with photoshop.. lol i couldn't even make a sig for myself :rolleyes:

if i remember it has grey cloth type seats... and red. and the doors also have some weird cloth thats grey and red.

??? If you remember? You just posted a picture of it! :rolleyes:The North Face Edition seats are in leather.
 
leather? whoa wait a second now you got me wondering whats going on cause my friend has a 01 red northface with two tone grey cloth and rubber seats. and you guys (and myself have read) that the northface only come in leather with green and grey and does not come in the red right? brb i'm giving my friend a call

The North Face Editions didn't become available until August of last year, btw.

Man, if I'd only known something like this was available! Sounds like a custom job or special promo. I agree with the others: according to chevy, and the dealer, TNF was not supposed to be available in red, blue, or forrest green. Also, all were supposed to be leather with green accents.

I passed up on it because my top three colors were red, blue, and forrest green, and I didn't want leather!.

D'oh! If I saw a red TNF with red/grey cloth interior, it would have been all over - stop looking: I WANT THAT! :rolleyes:

Sigh... I still love my truck, and I'm very happy with it. But...

Don't beat yourself up to bad, SS. It wasn't available from Chev.
 
ok ok so here is what he said, he got it from chevy, it is a 02 but... chevy did some work on it cause they could not sell it. the seats are a custom job the cladding is painted it has chrome rims and rage on road / off road tires. sticker was 58,xxx :eek: :eek: :eek: and it's not a real northface, the logos came from a wrecked one. plus it has white face gagues with billet overlays and all sorts of goodies, story told i now feel stupid but hey i did not know.

i also asked him to look at this site. (keep en eye out for him)

btw i think that was the first kid from my school i called all summer break (sept my best friends and hang out girlies)

Steel ... My quote was from a dealership who said they can order them in all colors for this year with the restriction on the SGM. I haven't followed up to confirm yet.

That could very well be right Goo. I was unable to find anything on TNF color options for the 2003's other than the SGM and yellow info we already know about.
BTW, why aren't you on the road yet! ;D
