Well, I noticed a pull to the right indicating that a front end needing an alignment. I picked a dealership on the way to work and NOT the one where I purchased it.

So, I dropped it off and chose the $99 special for alignment, spin balance and tire rotation. An older gentleman who worked there provided a nice bottle of orange juice and a breakfast bar to all customers dropping cars off knowing they were probably had rushed breakfast. They also provided a shuttle service to work.

I called the service tech to see how things were going. He said that they noticed crack in the plastic on the rear window and that several were developing. :C:

He then said they were going to replace it under warranty. ;D Saved about $1100!

He also said they had determined panel #3 was warped and they would also replace it under warranty. ;D Of course they didn't have it in stock but it would be here next week.

The work was done on time and to my satisfaction. They even offered to send the shuttle back to pick me from work if I didn't have a ride.

I did take an opportunity to talk to the guys. They knew some of the obvious issues with the Avalanche like the cracked rear window and the sagging panels.

They didn't know about the huge TSB on water leaks on the midgate or the TSB on the leaking seam in the wheel well.

Well, you can't be an expert on all of the Chevrolet issues I guess.

They also wasn't aware of this site. I am going to drop off a few brochures.

To curry favor, I am going to provide a list of all the Avalanche TSB and some of the major ones.

The dealer that I use is fanastic... always eager to provide great service and go the extra mile.

Nice dealer story. ?Where are they located?

The dealer is Parkway Chevrolet between Houston, TX and Tomball, TX.

Another member posted some negative comments last year or so about them. I think the member's name was Bryan who also drove a red 2002 AV with the Glasscapes Texas flag on the back glass.

Maybe they changed service managers or something. During the conversation with the service rep the service manager also walked out and joined in the conversation on Avalanches.

Speaking of Glasscapes Texas flag, I also had one on my back window. Unfortunately, it was lost during the rear window swap. :C:

Well, $80 Glasscapes for a replaced $1100 back glass isn't too bad.
