ARIZONA NOVEMBER 8th GET TOGETHER

Where: Awahtukee Hooters
4804 East Chandler Blvd. #100
Phoenix, AZ 85044
When: November 8th
Time: 7:00 PM

On Saturday November 8th we will be having a get
together at the Awahtukee Hooters at the corner of Chandler Blvd and 48th St.

Part of this meet will be a discusion to gain input from members on the upcoming group buy and modding gtg for the power tailgate lock. If you are not interested in this group buy please come out and join us, as this is something that will be discussed, but not dominate the meet.

On a special note, if we are able to draw in 8 or more AV's for this meet, Hooters will give us a free wing party.

If you plan on attending this meet please post, and I will add you to the list so we can see how many Av's will be attending, and who will be joining us.

Just got off the phone with the Manager of Hooters, he has us on his calander and will have parking spots saved for us....

Also I have set the meet time for 7:00, but I will probably be getting there at 6:30, and I figure most will trickle in between 6:30 and 7:15.

Hey, I just bought my AV a month ago. My wife just gave me a kitchen pass to go play with you guys ;D. Did you have room for one more. Let me know. Hoping to meet more avalanche fanatics. Thanks, Mikesav.

Thanks for the hospitality :B:. I just ordered my new license plate, "MIKESAV". Hopefully I will recieved it by the 8th. My wife thinks that I am slowly separating from her and the new plate proves it. She is wrong about the separating, but the vehicle is MINE. Hence the name--MIKESAV. Does anyone know about any postings regarding a "wife mod" >:D. A mod that would prevent a wife from getting mad at a man for loving his Avalanche :love:. Shhhh! Don't tell her I posted this. She will be pissed :8:. One of these days I need to get a pic of my AV in here. See ya at Hooters, MIKESAV.

We may have another member joining us at this gtg, tagged him tonight outside of Native Newyorker doen in South Chandler, he is on the site, but has not been active, but he did seem interested in this gtg and said he would be there, hopefully he will post and let us know for sure.

Suggestions for a wifes mod:

If not wifes mod" = "wifes Av" , then at least let her drive it more. Has she driven it at all yet? I didn't think I would like driving it because it was soooo big. Once my husband finally let me drive it, I loved it.

Make sure to include her on the gtg's and let her know there are other wives out there like her.

I really enjoy the gtg's even though I do not have my own av. The gtgs are great. The people are great. Everyone is very friendly. We share a lot of stories and a lot of laughs. I sure there will be a lot to tell about our Kingman trip. :D
