nov/dec gtg idea for nj area..

i just saw a post from mudbug and i think he's got a good idea, so i think we should steal it >:D

what about a christmas tree farm sometime in nov/early dec? they're all over the place.. we could do lunch (yes even hooters

) then head out to chop down some trees.. i'll even supply all the hot chocolate and coffee we need

anyone up for it? any idea of when u'd want to go? (as usual i'm partial to sundays )

Well........The place I plan on Going To is 5 Minutes from My New Home--Includes Wagon Ride Into woods -You tag The tree you want and They Cut in Down For you.

This sounds pretty cool. I have a fake tree, so I don't need one but, depending on the date, etc., I still might like to go. I think early December would be good. It's more Christmassy then.

this would work.. saves everyone the trouble of lugging around axes and chainsaws.. >:D

where is it located? can you find out hours etc?

and well if we're gonna do it in december, it would have to be the dec 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, or 21, and the 20th and 21st are a little too close to christmas for my comfort.. so what would everyone prefer?

i'd prefer either the 7th or the 14th..

btw dario.. we don't have to do hooters.. actually i'd rather we didn't.. i just don't get it.. the wings aren't that good, why do u guys like it so much?

ok.. slight possible change of plans.. what about combining this idea with bonesaw's toy drive gtg? i've got a few ideas that i posted on the toy drive thread. check it out.. let's make this a huge gtg.. maybe we can beat out local record.. and no, i have no idea what that is.. anyone? lol..
