Off-roading

I thought breaking things was part of off-roading. Besides, it helps you decide what your next mod is going to be  >:D

Hmmm, new rear differential or real skidplates???......BANG......new rear differential. That was easy.

One thing I'd just remind folks of prior to getting up there ... a lesson learned at the ECRM event way back when...

Do NOT go off roading in the national park off 441... the park police dont have a sense of humor ;)? And as if they arent a happy group, make particularly sure that you do NOT go off roading while on the cherokee reservation because they absolutely have no sense of humor for a buncha hooligans with mud all over their trucks.

Not saying we did that  ... but we did get an escort of sorts off the reservation, which was picked up by the national park police at the park border.? No one really got spoken to but evidently its against the law in those places.? Not sure why they figured we were up to no good... only 8 avalanches, some lifted all in a line, driving up little roads and asking folks where to go mudding >:D

Lord Aries? I never plan on breaking any-thing
Those are my parts just in case.

Also most off-road parks will have a easy out on really difficult obstacles.

And Driver Technique over the Trails Plays a major part in making it through most obstacles. And Luck >:D

Trails that stockers can navigate will be Cool:? I have a long ride home.
Cant Waite this sounds like a fun trip.

Anyone have a approx Head count for this??

Hugz, reading back through the post, it looks like we're under 10 trucks but I don't know how many people and trucks are actually planning on going. Saw a couple people looking to do "ride alongs". Sorry if I', not real helpful. I can only say that, "Yes, our red, cladded, '02 will be going offroad should the occassion arise.... and if anyone needs help, we have a winch? >:D"

We'll try this...
If you are planning on taking your truck off-road, please pipe up. If you want to go but don't want to take your truck, please pipe up. Please specify  We'll see if we can't get a list going in one of the first posts.

Thank you for taking this on..  I want to be sure several are interested in it...  (y)

I added a list of AV's that I'm guessing are interested to the first post. Yell if I missed one throughout the posts or if you want to be added. I didn't add riders, but I can if a headcount is needed.

We are planing to go. Me, Wife, and boys 6&1 (4 people in my ride)
I have room for 1 ride along if needed!

I also have a winch and recovery kit. Air dovn tools and air up.

Between my 5.79:1 Granny Gear in the 6spd, 2:1 low in the t-case and my 4.56 gears it comes out to that low azz crawl ratio in a gear calculator.

I'm in... though not sure what configuration I'll have for seating, probably have at least one rider with me (y)

I'm so excited I drove through some grass last night just to not feel pavement under the tires! LOL  :D
