I want to join an offroading club most have jeeps. Now that I have been stuck onces I now know why. A locking front diff would have been nice to have plus a dozen other reasons size, weight .........I could keep going but I love my avalanche. My  question is Should  a jeep with a recovery strap pull out a stuck avalanche. Also can and should a jeep with a winch be winching out an avalanche.

Yes and no
A experienced person with a winch with the correct recovery tools should be able to get a AV unstuck.

That being said the biggest thing that will get you in trouble VS a Jeep is Wheel base.
Hi James.

We have taken out our AV's on Jeep trails and Navigating can get a bit tecnical. but it can be done.

Also I have had my front end when Re-Geared Drag Shimmed ; works a little bit more like a posi.
This helps prevent the Spider gears from walking out under load.

Thanks I didn't want to go wheeling with out know it I got stuck I'd have no way of getting out without a tow truck or an other 1/2 ton to yank me out. We all know what the Jeep guys would have said " should have bought a Jeep " . I need a vehicle that can change with my every day life and not having to buy multiply vehicles to do so.  ie home depot trips, trailering toys, cottage life, and eventually a growing family. The Avalanche might not be the biggest and best but it very well rounded. In my opion that the best.

If anyone has tow recovery stores I'd love to here they, with pics are the best.

I run a trail close to my house its rated off of a 2 wrangler as a 4-6 I did it for the first time at 10 last Saturday night and I fell into a deep puddle and had to get winched out by two cute little Toyotas hook together guess it takes two Toyotas to pull out a real truck  >:D but later after that I ran the trail no problem and myn is stock with a/t tires stock running boards and all with out any problems and I have been on that tail in 2' of ice and snow and had to get winched out also and there like a avalanche made it this far?!?!?! and then they said oh bronco 2 with me no problem and I could go so much farther then he could I don't know I don't like taking crap from them and it can do 10 times what they give it credit far but piece by piece there coming around or learning more I think although at one point had to fold in the mirrors for about 2 miles didn't have to but a safety percussion
