HELP, driving home from Marble Falls on Sat. eve I noticed a truck ahead of us smoking severely. I didn't think much about it at the time.
Today I go out to wash the truck and I notice that there is oil all over the windshield and front end(lights, grill and crossbar). :8: :7:
I have tried Stoners Invisible Glass, Eagle One 20/20 Glass Cleaner, and WD-40 but nothing seems to work at removing this cr@p! :8: :8:

Has anyone ever had this problem before? What are ya'lls suggestions for a cleaner?
:B: :B:

I've never tried it, but I think Dawn Dishwashing detergent is supposed to cut grease, so maybe you can try that.
I have also heard of people using regular Coca-Cola on their windshield to remove oil.

I had a similar problem and I used ZAINO's Clear-view glass polish and took care of the sludge on the windshield. I understand the time constraint in placing and receive the order, but is always nice to have it on hand for future use.

A dawn wash of the enitire vehicle would be good so as to remove all the oil from the paint and rest of the truck...then follow up with regular car shampoo before drying.....then wax etc etc....

For windows alone try lighter fluid, Prepsol, 3M tar & ahesive remove in a spray can.......

Any product you use ensure it is paint friendly and clean afterwards with your glass cleaner.

It's harsh, and will strip off your wax, but wax/degreaser remover from your local hardware store. It comes in a tin can. This stuff takes off anything I've tried it on so-far. It is safe for paint, just takes off wax too.

VINEGAR AND WATER IN A SPRAY BOTTLE WILL CLEAN MOST STAINS INCLUDING OIL FROM PAINT OR YOUR WINDOWS. I USE IT ALL THE TIME. YOU MAY WANT TO WASH THE TRUCK AND WAX WHEN YOUR DONE(SORRY FOR YELLING MY CAP LOCK IS BROKE) AJ

Vinegar is great at removing water spots...it will loosen the mineral deposits and make them easy to remove......
