Have any of you tried this? Probably as much a joke as the tornado but I thought I would ask since you guys are saying that gain are to be made for a throttle body spacer. And from a theory standpoint don't aren't they supposed to do the same thing?

Good find :B:

While I am no where near the mechanical levels of Butch or Gand....

However, I think the drawings and examples on some of the pages look like a high school project

To call this thing a joke would be too nice. Remeber ANY turbulance in an intake tract will kill low end torque. The best thing for any engine is a fast smooth straight shot of air at the intake valve.

EXAMPLE:
Porting and polishing heads is the best improvment any one can make and it is becuase it allows for a smoother faster increased flow of air into the combustion chamber. Turbulance is BAD no matter what kind of circus like advertising tells you otherwise.

Just wanted to add: polishing the intake side of things is not recomended... turbulance IS good - it keeps the fuel atomized in the air... At least that what I've learned...
(we're talking about the very small level of turbulance that's created by the rough casting in most cylinder heads and intakes - not some nasty 90 degree bends and restricting valve guide bosses(correct terminology?))

Back when I was building my two stroke race quad - I was told to watch out for cylinder heads with polished intake ports. Reworked is defintely good! But a mirror polish was a sure sign of work done by someone who is not completely 'in the know'.

As far as I know, the exhaust side of things and the cylinder head are what recieve the polish... Can anyone verify this??

OK, now that the intake has been "fixed" don't forget the

Turbo Exhaust Tube

PT Barnum was dead on ... this way to the egress... >:D

Actually Turbulence is a (Good) thing....., its called a Swirl effect...., All Racing Cylinder Heads are Designed to produce it in the combustion chamber area......

Yes marc.., You are Right.., a Good set of ported Heads will have a Rough Sanded finish in the Ports., for better atomizing of the fuel air charge.., the Exhaust side can be Smooth.., because its just spent Gasses, with no liquid..........

That Turbo Exhaust Tube is exactly what I have been looking for.

Now I should be able to run dual exhaust out the back.

So if my calculations are correct, I should be able to back the Av down the boat launch ramp until the water level reaches the midgate, hit the gas, let those Turbo blades build up some thrust and get the hole shot on everybody else who's pulling thier boat out of the water. >:D >:D >:D

I wonder how much wake turbulence I will cause.
