It's a good engine.
The 8.1 uses oil (as pretty much all of them do), but apparently it is due to the PCV system design.
Not a big deal, just top up as needed.
Other than some silly electrical issues, the truck hasn't had any operational issues at all.
The truck is reliable, comfortable, and hauls really nice.
Shame on GM for cancelling the perfect truck!
