It's been one year since I purchased my Avalanche and I would have to say it's been a great one. No major or minor problems with it at all :D.

The only complaint I have is keeping the Indigo Blue looking clean. I bet you I have washed the beast at least 50 times over the year. I will be doing it again on Saturday.

Unless Chevrolet/GM comes out with some new super looking truck, I will be keeping my AV until the doors fall off.

Now it's time to start doing some more mods.

You are right about the 50 times ( washing it) I have a white one and I still wash it about once a week...

Greats on the one year mark... I would love to see eveyones 1 year mark.......

One and a half mo to go. I still sit back crack a beer and stare at it in shock, that I have one. Just poped another , I love this sight almost as much.
 
Just bought mine today! Looking forward to the first year aniversary. Loaded North Face! Thinking about
puting a Borla Exhaust System on it! Has anyone done that and did you like it? (y)
 
Congrats on the one year owners! Makes me feel like a Johnnie Come Lately (the nerve of me calling myself the Chief Fan - I waited six months to buy mine!).

Congrats also to new Av owner and member - I know steelheadchaser has a North Face that he has modified the exhaust on - although I don't think he's done the full system. You should check with him - put your post on that topic in the Performance section - you'll get a lot of quick responses.
 
I've got my one year coming up next month. Not looking forward to paying my annual registration. :C:
 
My anniversary date was May 19th. Tags in California was $476. I love this truck just as much as the Day I bought it. ;D ;D ;D

 
My 2 week anniversary will be tomorrow 6/8/2002. ;D

The build date was 6/15/2001 though in Mexico.

Looks like BlackGadget is the oldest AV owner so far.
 
I've still got a ways to go. I bought my AV on 3/23/02. The day before my birthday no less!

I still love this truck. I can't belive my good fortune to get such a deal on it!
 
;DOrdered mine on Mar 30, 2001, picked it up May 31, 2001. Been lucky, hasn't been back to the shop yet. Keeping my fingers crossed. :B:

Mine was a Christmas present - so I've got a ways to go. But no complaints, and the way time flies the anniversary date will be here before I know it . . . then just two more years of GMAC 0% payments!
