Hello All, Anyone have a picture of there yellow top installed in there truck? I found one picture when I did a search but couldn't open the page. Thanks AJ

Are you guys talking about a yellow Snugtop on a yellow Avalanche? Or is someone else in the canopy market?

Either way, I'll bet the yellow AV with a matching canopy would be gorgeous.

Whoops. Sorry, I've been writing on a magazine article all day and am half silly.

Of course, Opima - the battery.

I hunt in Montana every fall and OEM batteries scare the hell out of me. Because of this, I put in an Optima Red Top last October. I've had several Optima batteries and they just never fail.

Great choice.

THANKS GUYS, I'm lokking for A bracket on it. Mine didn't come with one and I know the factory one aint fittin. Thanks for your help I did look at the dual bat setups looking for more of a top view. Oh Well ??? Anyone one help!! AJ

And once again, many fall victim to advertising. Good article Irontrain. I will buy my cheap $39 battery and replace it every five years. This has worked for 20 yrs. Here is my battery trick. On cars I do not use daily, I use a battery saver (solar panel). Plop it on the dash and plug it into the 12v accessory jack. they are around $30 and last forever.

Irontrain,
That is the one I use. Today cars have a lot of "keep alive circuits," so the battery is being drained. That solar panel supplies more than enough power to keep the battery topped off.

Avalanche Jim,
I've got a yellow top on my truck. See my website page 6, if you want other pics just send me an IM.

Did the Optima fit on the stock bracket?
Yes it fit without modding anything.

What are those dials on the undercide of the center console lid for?
Those dials controled my Jensen WA62RC powered sub. I've just changed over to a JL audio stealthbox and will put the remote control for my sub amp in place of the Jensen controls.
More pics will follow in our local club fourm here.
