Today I ordered a 2004 Avalanche 2500. It will take about 6 weeks for delivery.
The "G.M. in the driveway program" has started anew and will last until March 31st. The old program ended on Jan. 2 and those certificates are no longer valid. Current employees have or will receive new vouchers within 2 weeks to give out to family and friends.
I'm looking for a new friend who would be willing to sign me up for G.M. in the driveway supplier discount. I would truly appriciate anyone who can help me. Please contact me by e-mail.
Now my fun begins with modifications and accessories such as stickers, lights, neoprene bushings, rear wheel spacers, programer and 285 tires.

IF anyone has an extra GM supplier discount coupon laying around that they could give up...I NEED TO BUY ANOTHER AV LOL seriously though.

I would GREATLY appreciate if you could send me one.

You can PM me and let me know and I will PM you my name and address to send it to.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ANYONE WHO HAS AN EXTRA ONE. ;D

G.M. employees and retirees should be getting G.M. in the Driveway certificates within the next week or two.

I ordered a 2500 Avalanche Jan. 15th. It should arrive before Mar. 31st. If someone out there can arrainge a certificate for me, I will use it.

Here is the deal I'm working on. MSRPshould be $43,640, Dealer invoice $39,212.65, GMS 37,003.95 and Supplier price (GMS + 4%) 38,447.71. Adding a rebate of $3500 plus my GM Card allowance of $1500 will result a price of $33,447.71 ($10,192.29 below MSRP) assuming I get a certificate.

Some other angles and things I know or don't know that can affect my final price are;

The GM Card allowance could change at any time.

Supplier certificates are good till Mar. 31st.

Business Choice incentives ( I own a small business ) as of Dec. 31 do not include the Avalanche.

GM instant value certificates are held by dealers. Dealers may or may not give them out to customers. Does anyone know how these work.

Supplier certificates allow the dealer to receive 5% holdback instead of 3%.

I've seen "GM Bonus Cash (see dealer)". Anyone know about this.

24 Hour Test Drive $750 discount certificates are hard to come by.

Rachel Rodriquez at Ourismam Chevy in Wheaton Md. (301-946-0001) will sell GM Protection Plan extended warrenties at $50 over cost.

Many dealers here in Calif. have manufacturer advertising cost added to the dealer invoice but not includrd in the GMS price.

Any comments, questions, answers, or corrections?

There are many incentive programs that come and go so if you are buying keep your eyes open.

I'm looking for an '04 Av and appreciate any input on the area dealers regarding pricing.

If you use the GM certificate, do you have to order the Avalanche? Or can you buy from the lot? Also how is Ourisman price compared to other Chevy dealers you've visited? TIA.

it might be news to me but as far as I know the GM supplier discounts are the property of the Supplier Employee and not available to transfer .....

here is what it says at GMsupplierdiscount.com:

8. How do I get an approved GM Supplier Discount Form?

Click here to request a discount form, or call Program Headquarters at 1-800-960-3375. You'll need to provide the name of your company, your name, Social Security number, home address and phone number. Then, fax the cover page to 1-888-358-7312, or mail a photocopy of your current pay stub or employee ID badge to: GM Supplier Discount Program Headquarters, P.O. Box 217006, Auburn Hills, MI 48321. After we receive your employee documentation, your GM Supplier Discount Form will arrive in approximately three to five business days, if you qualify. The GM Supplier Discount Form will be valid through December 31, 2004.

With a employee discount or GM supplier discount you can buy a vehicle off the lot or order a vehicle as long as you pay for it before any deadlines. You need a VIN number before you can pay for a vehicle.

I'm using the "GM in the driveway" program where an employee or retiree receives a certificate to give to family or friends that entitles the recipient to get GM Supplier pricing. For GM prices go to gmpricing.com. Log in name "employee" passwod "pricing"

Rachel at Ourisman said $50 over cost. Example is 100K/6yr. 100 ded.= $2045
