Original spark plugs, wires, and coils

I know it will be hard to believe , but..... at 257,000 miles, i still am on my original plugs, wires, and coil. Still averaging 15 to 17 MPG city and 20 to 22 MPG highway. Purrs like a kitten and runs like a race horse. My service garage keeps trying to get me to change them all out, but why... not broke, don't fix it ,RIGHT?

I have to say, that is impressive to get that many miles out of spark plugs. But you're crazy for not changing the plugs, bare minimum. That saying fits for many things but not maintenance items in my opinion. Change those plugs out!

I could see leaving the coils until theres a problem. I still carry a spare though.
