Anyone here try mounting bigger wheels then the stock 17" on their AV without a lift kit? :B: :0:
 
bigger wheels or rims?...both yes they have...up to 22" rims i've heard of and tires up to 33 but some cladding cutting will be involved b/c the front tires will rub will turning otherwise
 
Wasn't their a picture of an AV on 24" posted a while back?
 
I'm running 285 60R 18s with no problems... no rubbing.

Yep, and there was one of 26s also. Think I have it, search and if you don't see it, let me know and I will throw it up on here.

P.S. I have a WBH (see sig) and my tires are 33" and I have no problems. Any more and I would though. They come really close to the bumper when the wheel turns into the wheelwell. I have a buddy that does alignments at a tire shop and he said he could put some camber in it or take some camber out of it (I don't remember which he said) to move it back some. No problems but when you look from the side my tire is about 1.5" away from front of wheelwell and about 3" from the tire to the rear of fenderwell. But, like I said WBH. Cladding may have a few problems.

yes Ryan had 24's on his AV before he sold them, we had to do a little modding of his front rear fender well to stopp the rubbing when he hit a bump while turning his pic is here below

Did Ryan sell his 24"s because of the rubbing. I just orderd some 24s with 305/35/24 series tires. Do you think I will have to cut any of the cladding?

No he sold them because he was able to make a profit, he is looking for more wheels to put back on it.

I don't knwo who this Ryan Guy is, but...His Av with those old rims he sold......BAD A$$. Hope he can find some more to look that sharp!
