Got the call today, should have it in a few days! :) Can't wait to get the ipod and XM in my 2003 w/bose 6cd.

I ordered mine from HP Distributing because I was referred them by PAC Audio themselves.
I recieved it today, pulled the head unit, plugged it into the harness, and hooked a mini-jack Y adaptor to the RCA of the AAI-GM24, and that was about it! Works fine off the bat, and I have a second input to use for XM/DVD whatever.
I simply hit the cd/aux button to select aux, and rev or forward to select input number.
Later I may look at adding the steering wheel control unit, but for now I am happy finally enjoying my ipod without a damn RF ADAPTOR! WOOOO!

Just popped in my AAI-GM24.

Couple things.

1. The display now shows a multi-disk head. Interesting; this is by design.

2. There is a bug that somtimes the audio just gets real faint. I think the amp isnt getting signal to turn on. PAC knew of this and was rememding. They seem like a good bunch. The product is sweet!

I can live with the little bug not having to modulate.

Anyone else get their AII-GM24?

I'm still waiting. :(

Jason (JP Customs) has been working with PAC to get their units shipped. Hopefully he has good luck soon. I wonder why there is such an issue. It's not like this is the HD TiVo or something. :D

Does anybody know if the PAC AII-GM24 is compatible with the SOUNDGATE Sirius adapter? ......Or is it one or the other??

just got the email from jpcustoms saying that i should see my device in a couple of days. does any one know of a good book, or site that has instruction on removing the head unit? (stock head unit with xm/6 disc/bose)
i am pretty sure that i can do it with no problems but would like to know what i am up against before getting started.
would also like to know if any was has tried modding the center console to put a bigger sub woofer in to replace the bose?? any tips or experiences to share?

Halfler03,

I just recently installed an AUXGMv2 in my HU(noBose/cdchngr). There's a good thread in here somewhere on how to remove the dash,I'm not sure exactly where it is.
Simply just apply EM brake, shift down to 2nd or 3rd gear to get the shifter out of your way, and the dash face trim just pulls out. No screws. Start from the left or right side, and pull out about an inch all the way around. Tilt your wheel down, the only resistance I had was the plastic around the gauge cluster. Once that's out, the HU is just 3 screws. Good luck!!
