Hi, just bought my AV (pick it up today), and I want to get the cladding painted. I spoke to a few shops but none seem confident about the job. Can anyone recommend a place in or near Miami? If not, in Florida? Thanks

Before attempting to paint them, go to your local Chevy dealer and ask for a printout of "Info - Painting of Cladding #02-08-51-001."
It seems the cladding is made off a material known as TPO, some kind of polyolefin which is considered to be "non-paintable."
Good Luck!

There is a kid that I always see and chat on the road with near 79th street near I-95. He's got a Black 02 fully painted with body armor in top condition. Next time I see him, I will ask him who did his work.

Add-on comment: also, you MUST go to Red's truck customizing on NW 27th avenue and 73/74th Street. HUGE shop, specializes in domestic trucks. Go on a weekday and talk to the owner himself. I had the bad experience of going on a Saturday and having to deal with some kid who only knows about rims. But put that aside. The owner has been on speedlogic a few times for his show work.

Thanks all. I will definately be checking out Red's. Another paint shop also mentioned the polyolefin but I won't believe until I exhausted all my efforts. Thanks again.
