I would love for some one to tell me how you go about painting the back bumper and leaving the top textured. Also how bad does the cladding chip?

Anyone know anyone in VA/NC with the cladding painted?

The top textured pieces are inserts. They can be popped out with the right pressure and placement of a screwdriver. Just look under your bumber, you will see the clips that hold them on. However, the long center one does have some nasty double sided tape. My buddy, amd1900, sells diamond plated ones to replace the textured inserts. They look awesome. You can get them in a wide variety of finishes from chrome to brushed to painted. A bunch of members on the board have them, especially them southern cal folks. Just llok him up for a price. Chrome ones are bad ass. MIkesav.

I have a black Av with painted clading and it seems to be holding out. It wasnt cheap though, about $3000 canadian
