A friend of mine put duals on his Dodge and has them coming straight out the back and he asked what type of setup I had.  I told him that mine are coming out the sides behind the rear wheels.  He said that he liked the look but was told by his muffler guy that the exhaust tips will get dirty real easy and will be hard to keep clean.  Well guess what, I agree with him after having mine on for almost two months now.  Now I'm contemplating on getting some mud flaps.  Do you think this will keep the tips from getting so dirty?  Another thing is I don't want black ones.  I would like to get some that match my truck or some that I can have painted.  Has anyone ever seen any color match mud flaps?  How does it look or how do you think it would look?

I've got the same set up as you. Dual pipes out the side behind the rear tires and also have the OEM mud flaps for a WBH. As far as the mud flaps keeping the tips clean? (n) they're still going to get dirty just maybe not as dirty.

As for painting I don't know. Might look good. I would take the OEM mud flaps, sand them down then paint myself.

What ever you decide good luck. (y)

Thanks for the pictures.  I was wondering how the flaps looked with the Fender flares.  Yours look real good.

What process was used to paint them.?

The drive 3 hours to the paint shop and have them paint it process.

They painted the flaps when they did the wheel flares and repainted the front bumper as well as the cladded steps.

Found the OEM mud flaps at gmpartsdirect part # 12498342 for $34.00 before shipping. But is this for the whole set or for each mud flap?  I sent customer service an email but have yet to get a response.

that part number is either the front set or the rear set, I can't remember.

You're correct they are for the rear only.? Does anyone know the part number for the front for a WBH with fender flares?

Found this part number but doesn't say if it's for the WBH or not.? 12498060

gmpartsdirect.com says 12498060 are for the front on a WBH.
12495822 is for the rear of a WBH.

Looks like #12495822 is for a non flared Av "The molded splash guards cannot be used with fender flares".

The correct number for the rear I think would be  #12498342 "Black with bowtie logo. For use with trucks equipped with fender flares".

I stand corrected, sorry about that!

Give the local dealers parts department a call. They may have them in stock and may save you a little bit of money on the shipping. If I remember right when I picked mine up the cost was about $84.00.
