PAINTED VORTEC ON ENGINE COVER?

I adopted my av.
Is the vortec and swoosh under the hood painted on everyones 2002's?
It looks really good on mine, very professional. Not like some testor jobs I've seen.

I think they are SILVER from Factory the raised part.....but it has been while since I have been under the hood...

Yep, you are right. The "Vortec" comes that way, but a Testors Silver Pen does wonders for the rest of the raised symbols and letters.
