Paper Cuts From The Seat Mounts!!

Well I'm 226 miles into my AV, and I 've cut my hand twice.
has anyone else cut themselves on the rear seat mounts?
The first time I was converting and after it was all done i notice a 'paper' cut on my hand - not that big a deal, didn't know how or when it happened just that it was bleeding.
well my 4 year old daughter has horsing around getting out of daddy's cool truck when she hollered because she had sliced her heel. Nothing to serious after the initial blood curdling screaming and cryin (yes she was barefoot - this is Texas, kids are barefoot for the summer) . this is when I started investigating and determined razor sharp edges in various spots on almost all of the rear seat mounts.
I was at the dealer and they were very concerned when i mentioned the young-un getting cut and they compared to another AV and found the same issue. They are going to find out where GM stands on the issue. In the meantime i've tape over the dangerous spots and will give them some time before I file 'em down myself.
Has anybody else run across this?
Also was taking the bed mat out today and sliced my finger good on the hard plastic piece that holds it down by the midgate. i was trying to figure how it came and ran my finger along the underside of the edge that faces the tailgate. Guess I'll sandpaper that one since it's plastic.

Many sharp unfinished edges on this truck. I too made a deep slice in my finger from the plastic grate below the Midgate.

GM wasn't lying when they told the press that this vehicle will contain Cutting Edge Technology >:D

I wonder how many GM service techs have been victims of the Av?

My Av does not have this problem. I have a 2-year-old and 8-year-old and they have been all over upside down and all around our Av - never a cut. Will agree that that's a pretty sharp edge where the mat goes by the midgate. I was even down in the mounts and rails digging out sunglasses, pens, papers, trash, etc. today and not a lick.

I'd be all over the dealer and GM - they need to replace them parts!

Midgate grate got me too - had it out of truck wiping it down.

My own fault, I knew it was sharp, I should have been more careful.

The cladding around rear wheel wells has bitten me too. I've thought about wearing mechanics gloves when washing that area.

No problem with rear seats, but I will heed the warning.
