Bryan at PCM For Less has offered a group buy price of $200 ;D to reprogram your AV pcm. He said " I have had great luck with the Avalanche. On 87 octane I have picked up 15-20HP and with premium fuel we have picked up 25HP or more. I can delete the torque management and firm up your shifts and it really helps the truck from having that feeling of laying over during shifts and is much more responsive on take off and downshifts."

Please let me know if anyone is interested in this deal.

Does this effect gas mileage in anyway? Also was wondering if it can be undone at a later time like with a hypertech you can take the tune out if you do not like it. Just wondering if the same can be done with this.

Milage depends on how you get it programmed.
You can either put another pcm in your truck [ around $100 at junkyard] or have them reprogram it back to stock.
Please contact Bryan at Programmer@PCMFORLESS.COM for the details.

Ok, I have the minimum to meet the group buy price.
Anyone else want to order one of these ???
I will be placing the order July 1.

Thanks.

How is everyones PCM for less working ? Any dyno results ?

Any comments at all about the pcm for less set up I am debating between hypertech and this an I would like to hear from some one that knows first hand.

I did the pcm for less. I have found that Bryans statements are accurate. I don't think hypertech removes torque management and that is very important.

I love the increased power and much improved shifting.

However I have a Z66 2 wheel drive and removing torque mgt disables the traction control, so if you drive in snow you probably dont want to do the pcm for less.

I can't believe I missed this one :6: After reading ALL the posts on chips here, I'm gonna get PCM. The great luck owners have had with this are well worth it, and you can't beat the price. Can we get enough for another group buy?

count me in if this comes around again!!!!

What's the deal? Do we just send in our chip? Or do we send in our computer itself? Who all has already done the mod and is it worth it?
