PIAA head light bulbs do not fit

Has anyone bought PIAA bulbsfor their 2002 and have them not fit right? I bought a pair and the damn things won't lock into place!!! If i bought a pair of the Xenon bulbs would they do the same thing? any thoughts?
or solutions? ???

Use an allen wrench to loosen the ring base about two turns, then they fit, the PIAA's are a little bigger in the base - works fine.
