FYI: Didn't like em. They didn't clean my shield from day one. I replaced them last week with factory issue and they work great. Any others with experience?

Ain't that odd, I had exactly the opposite experience.

I've been through a pretty miserable winter so far with them with zero problems and good wiper performance.

I don't know that they are a lot better than other premium brands. Neither fair nor foul.

Chasman, you reminded me to call regarding the Rostra heated wiper blades. I will keep everyone updated on this as I think it would be excellent for winter driving, especially since the Avalanche wiper blades rest below the full force of the defrost.

A new wiper blade will only work as good as the windsheild it is on---------

I recommend the Clear View Glass Polish by Zaino
It removes road film and water stains very well

I telephoned Mark's Auto Air Conditioning and was told that Mark is having a sale on the Rostra Safety Blade. $99 installed. They are calling me back tomorrow with prices on Safe-Vue, their windshield washer fluid heater.

We might want to continue this branch of the thread in this thread, but PIAA-related posts should stick here.

Just my two cents. :)

Products like that work wonderful in the summer. Unfortunately, in the winter they are less effective and in my situation, without a garage, application would be very difficult. (It is -25F outside right now.) I have seen a similar product but aimed more at repelling rain, but it is supposed to keep bugs, etc. and ice from sticking. Best thing is that only glass companies can buy and apply it so I can just drive in, wait for a few minutes, and they clean the window to a nice polish, getting gunk off, then apply it. So I get an excellent application with no hassle. :)

So why haven't I done that? Hmm. Maybe I need to make some calls. :)
