I've been a lerker for a couple of months now and with the great deals going on I found me a Black Beauty.  Now I am pumped to get this thing looking like mine.  On friday I'm getting 20% tint all the way around but I'm looking for other mods that I can do.  If you were to do it again what would be your first mod?

Thanks

first mod i would suggest is the amber DRL's.

I think you got carried away with this one, not something easily done on a 2011 with a 6-speed.

My first mod is a CORSA Sport exhaust and also a bedslide such as the IFW Bedslide.

Valid point.  I have an '06 with teh 4-speed. That is simply from my list of "wants" that I keep handy.  I could settle for a 6.0 with a 4L65 beefed up.  So far, tho, I'm at 110K and zero tranny issues.

I would start with a GM NAV/ DVD upgrade and then swap my upper cladding / sail panels to smooth/ color matched ones. (y)

I'm getting it tonight.  I think i'm going to start with the following:

This week:
Amber DRL's (very nice)
Brighter Fog Lights (found this on the installing Amber DRL's)
Interior Light LED upgrade
K&N (not sure if i'm going to just replace the filter or go with a CAI)

Upcoming weeks:
Bed Slid (i didn't even know this exsisted)
Under dash lights
Exhaust

Thanks everyone

Let me know how it goes.  I am getting an 2011 Black LS at end of March

Have a question who did a cai on a 2010 or newer AV? How much did it cost you? Which mass air flow sensor did u use?

I used a Volant CAI with the PowerCore filter on my '12 and I just used the stock MAF sensor.  It cost me a little over $300, but I had a coupon from StreetSideAuto after buying my Corsa exhaust... while they didn't have the lowest listed price, with the coupon it was cheaper than anywhere else I could find.

Well my 2010 av maf is built into the air box so I need a to buy a separate maf

Thanks for your post! I just picked up my 2012 a couple weeks back and I didn't know about any of this either. I ordered my LED's on ebay last night. coming from china- free shipping to Canada.. I keep getting hit hard by shipping and some times brokerage fees when I order from the US.. sucks.

Description
120LED/M Cool White 5M 600Leds 3528 SMD Flexibility LED Strip Lights waterproof

Here's the link to what I ordered:

black bear tuning did a test on many cold air intakes on the same truck the same day on the dyno and the best performance was on the airraid tube only with stock filter...it cost me $139 and that was probably not the cheapest as it was from alligator performance...
