I found a pic of a Avalanche in the New Dark Blue Metallic I love that color I want a new AV in this color the only problem with this color would it would be hard to keep clean.

Wow, that's even darker than I thought it would be. Of course this monitor at work sucks too so it may look lighter than it does on my screen. This would definately be my color though if I were to buy one now. Well, maybe the the sport red one too...any pics of that one?? ;D
 
I only have a pic of the Sport Red on the WBH no pics of Sport Red with cladding
 
I'm curious to see how the sport red goes with the cladding, I think it will look really nice...the pics on chevrolet site don't really show it all that well. I really need to go to the dealership and take a look at these I guess, I'm just afraid that I might not be able to leave w/o one if I go :eek:

hmmmm, nice but not exactly what I expected. I'll have to see that one in person. My vote still goes to the blue. Thanks for the pics (y)
 
That is the sweetest color combination (with the dark cladding) I've seen on an Avalanche. I wish it was available in 2003. I really like my green but I like that blue even better.
 
oh man.. if i had waited a little longer i could have gotten an av to match my mom's 1990 cavalier.. >:D

that is sweet, but having to deal with all the scratches and spots on my mom's car has definitely cured me of needed a dark color.. lol

Is it still Indigo Blue or does it have a new name?
 
The new name is Dark Metallic Blue. Indigo blue was dropped. The other blue is called arrival blue.

My neighbor has a 2002 Indigo Blue. I have a 2004 Dark Metallic Blue. Side by side, mine is darker and a much richer color. From a distance, dark metallic blue looks almost black. But, you can tell it is not quite black enough to be black. In this sun, this color looks absolutely beautiful. Up close it is stunning.

If I can find a way to shrink the size of the pictures I took with my digital camera, I will post them here. Unfortunately the size is much greater than the 100MB allowed.
 
The new DBM is indeed sweet. Looks like it has a little more sparkle in it than Indigo. I was a little disappointed in the Sport Red. Not bad, but a little too "Rosey". I like the Metallic Red on the '03 Tahoe much better. :love:

Try takeing the pic with a 640X480 setting use a photo program to crop to just the truck. This should be easy to do....
I am curious to see this color.

Thanks for pics LANCe.......I like the dk blue...but I would not buy....too much work to keep clean
 
Looks nice! I like the dark blue color on the AV (of course, I have the Indigo blue); I only hope that GM's painting process has gotten better (more clearcoat) because my paint chips like a sunofagun and you really see the chips on a dark color... :6:
 
That '04 Dark Blue looks sweet

Here is a 2004 AV in Silver Birch with cladding I saw this color in person yesturday when I was in Boise, ID but they only had WBH's

Whenyou shrink the pics please do post them I would like to see some different angles

I'll have to check it out at the dealership.
Would love to have a silver with silver cladding, but I'll stick with my black for now.
