Pitting on Chrome Wheels---How to Treat?

I'm looking at some used Chrome wheels, and they do have some very minor pitting. Is there any way to remove the pitting, or any products that would do the job.

Also, if I maintain the rims going forward, assuming no additional pitting occurs, will the pitting already present get worse?
