If you have installed a Plasmaglow light set, could you tell me how hard it was to do? Where do you make the electrical hookup? How do you connect it to the radio so it pulses to the music, or if you don't hook it up to the radio what do you do? I want to buy one, but I wonder if it is a do-it-yourself project or if I should plan on paying to have it put in. How do you find someone to do it? ???

Hello, Hello, is this thing on? Anybody out there? Anybody? Well I guess nobody is putting the Plasmaglows on. Gee, I thought they were cool! I guess I'll use the money for a Hypertech Power Programmer instead. Everybody and his brother has that mod installed! Must be something to it! :0:

I just had mine installed last friday. It cost me 200 and took the guy 4 hours to do it. They do look cool though.

there is a sensor in the back of the controller that detects the noise that makes the pulse to the music when you have it set to that mode.

I just purchased the 2.1 Million color set-up off E-bay.  Only 85.00 (retails in the 200's)  So I soon will be looking at installing it myself and what needs to go into it.  Hopefully the weather will hold off this weekend!

I installed my 2.1 plasma glow with the additional wheel light kit. It does a pretty good job of lighting the undercarriage. The control box I installed in the driver side (in the cab) fuse panel. It was double sided taped in place and is out of the way. I ran the wired remote to the small cubby hole above. It took me awhile. All in all it took me 6 hours and I did have use of a lift. I did some other modds to pretty up in the install. I noticed that the main fuse panel under the hood had some unused space so I mounted a tie in panel there for the driver side lights and another on the passenger side for the passenger side lights. A multicolered ribbon cable connected the two together. I will take better pics tommorrow. but I was so excited at the results I had to post this blurb first.

I am going to the junk yard to find a generic black box to pretty up the passenger side.

That is a COOL idea. I was wondering how you were going to get it to match.

By the way I have added a lot of Plasmaglow items to my webstore now.

Have you had pretty good luck with yours?

They make some awesome lighting products! Like the new color changing under car LED Kits with remote control. And the LED Wheel Well kit.

Do you have the wheel well kit, by the way?
