Plasti Dip Pictures

On the bright side you don't have to wax it. Not sure if it's UV resistance has been improved, but my Dakota had a rhino lined bed and the liner faded bad. Armor all would shine it back up for a week.

Thought I'd share my first try with using plasti dip!
I decided to plasti dip the lettering on the cladding of my '02, as well as the boarded of my chevy emblem on the front that has a carbon fiber sticker on it.

2002 Indigo Blue Z71:

Thinking about Plastidip'ing my chrome power bar charcol gray or gun metal gray to match the stock gray grill.  Any suggestions or advice on how to best do this mod (i.e.: how to prep, etc...)?

Grill is currently off since I just repainted the aluminum bars behind the grill which had lost their paint coating and had become silver.

Broke the two outside nylon mounting clips removing the grill so grill will not go back on until I get replacements.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Everyone !

Has anyone done their Sail Panels in any other color than Black?  I have an 09 Z71 in Summit White with Silver Carbon Fiber Emblems and I'm thinking of doing all the Sail panels to match the Matte Silver on the front bumper insert, but  I am having a hard time trying to match it because they don't make the Silver Plasti Dip anymore

Thanks  09 chevyavy!

So has anyone done any other color on their upper cladding/ sail panels ...  I'm really curious to see what it may look like as an accent color .

I havent seen anyone do it yet. Would be neat to see for sure. No clue how well it sets up on the texture though. I want to have mine bedlined in addition to my two bumpers, front grill and my roof rack. Front bumper and grill is done. Just need to build rear and roof rack now.

well it looks like I may be the first one

I will post some pics after and try to include photos of the process.
I saw a avalanche was a black if I'm not mistaking and had a dark blue cladding painted on it.  I did really like it thought it looked good but that's just me I wish I had taken a picture!
