PORTLAND CHAPTER DINNER CRUISE

Meeting Place: Starbucks, Beaverton Towne Square
Destination: Knickerbockers Restaurant, Wilsonville
Knickerbockers is a family diner that serves a wide variety of cuisine from sandwiches and burgers to steaks and seafood. They serve nice portions for a very reasonable price and have wonderful homemade desserts. Prices range from $6-$8 for sands to $12-$15 for steaks, etc.There is PLENTY of seating.
NOW.... THIS IS IMPORTANT PART. The owners are two local couples that have have poured their hearts and souls (and savings) into this endeavour. Last weeks storm put a huge strain on their business. Without a little extra support they may have to shut their doors. This is not an unusual story for small business owners in todays economy. I figure the best way to help them is to purchase their product
SO.... While having the opportunity to meet some new friends and talk about the best truck in the world, we can also help some folks in our community.
We will meet in the Starbucks parking lot @ Beaverton Town Square at 4:00 PM where we can take a few pics and visit a bit, then cruise down to Wilsonville for dinner and refreshment

We certainly could leave them at home. May make for a better short cruise without them althogh they might be into it. They( 10 & 12 boys) are into the AV. Let me know how you guys do a cruise and if you include the whole family or not
