You have the Nav radio therefore you DO NOT have a 6 disc changer.? Only the non Nav radio has the changer.

Duh. I think I knew that. Oh well, a senior moment. Guess I will  have to continue playing one CD six times. :)

according to the post, that also applies to '07 models "already sold" as well. Must say, that has me thinking of an '07 again. Since I had bought an extended warranty, that was one of the draw backs of of trading, I didn't want to buy ANOTHER extended warranty..

Great looking truck Larry! Congratulations!!
Gonna miss seeing the "old" Supermobile at GTG's, but your '07 is really nice!

Nick

Thank to all, for the congrats.

We took a trip to Laughlin over the weekend and really enjoyed the new ride a lot.

The only thing I don't really care for is the leather seats.

To me, cloths seats are more comfortable, don't get hot and stick to the legs when wearing shorts.

I bought a towel for the trip back, and set on that, so that eliminated the problem, which only occurs on long trips. It isn't a problem around town.

Mine came with leather, and I do not care for them either.  The side of the leather wore out.  Someone told me that I should sit down on the seat and slide accross it and it will not wear out.  Of course, I did not listen, and my driver's side seat wore out.  So, I had to buy some custom seat covers to hide the damage.

I love my leather seats.  But I also experience the same pains with them when I wear shorts in hot weather.  I'd rather have leather sides with the centers (including in front and not just the seat / back inserts) done in suede.  Even better- the UltraLux  microfiber suede-like material that GM used for the inserts on the Malibu seat inserts.  Easier to care for and clean, still classy looking and feeling, and extremely comfortable.

It applies to ALL 2007 models.  Everyone will receive a mailer from GM stating that fact.

 very nice..lots of luck question..i noticed you have chrome on the mirrors is that a cover??...

Yes, it is a cover. The truck came with a chrome dealer add on which included the mirror covers, billet grill, silver bowtie, and custom chrome wheels.

I am trying to find out where the covers are available, will let you know.

That's correct.? I got my letter on Monday (bought my 07 Av on July 31 06).

These are a little overdue.  I was going to wait until I had my new wheels and tires but I have gone through several different combinations as I tried to track down wheels that I liked that had the correct offset.  The wheels that I have decided on are Dub Dirty Dog 6s in a 22X9.5.  They come in the correct +35 offset for the 07 for those that are curious.

Plans for the truck include debadging everything, painting the bowties black, smoothing and painting the sail panels and cargo bin covers, air intake and a cat back exhaust.

:welcome: It's beautiful, just like mine.  Is your windows tinted darker than factory?

Yes, I did 5% on the front and 20% on the back 3 to take them down to a net of 5% as well.  I also put two layers of 5% on the sunroof for good measure.  ;D

Those rims will look sweet....I have the same wish list of mods as you, I only have the tine, wheels and debadging done so far...I look forward to seeing your future pics  >:D
