My new 2004 Avalanche.  Yep it's an unusual color.....  dark green, and it doesn't have the odd-to-me looking cladding.

Nice looks great how many miles?  No worries the cladding looks goofy to me too ?
Thanks!  134K.  I live in far North-central Indiana and I went all the way down South to get a rust-free one.  This one spent all it's life as a one-owner in west-central Georgia, before being traded in and auctioned to a dealer in the west tip of South Carolina....... at least according to CarFax.  Recently drove 4 adults to Grand Rapids Minnesota on a fishing trip in late May.  1300 Miles round trip at 18.3 mpg, and everyone was very happy with the comfort of this Avalanche.  Going to start towing my racecar around (why I bought it), after I get new tires on it and an alignment.  No funny wear on old tires, but obviously old/cracked and would feel a lot more stable with some additional caster.  Need to thoroughly check out the front suspension and steering for worn parts before that happens though.  Driving while towing, especially long distances is such a chore unless things are just right!  Like to make it down to Memphis in September for a mee- up with friends at a racetrack.

Sunset at Brown County Indiana State Park.  Believe it or not, tis was taken with my 3 1/2 year old MotoX.  My wife's supersized iPhone 6s couldn't capture the colors.   >:D

Nice. How do you post pics?
click "Additional options" in reply window, then upload/attach the photo files directly to Chevy Avalanch Fan Club.  You will need to size them to below 100K each.

Alternatively you can insert an image hosted on another site by clicking on the second icon from the left in the reply window and inserting the url.  But recent developments with Photobucket-hosted images has proven this is not really a good option as your posts are at the mercy of the image hosting site.  Go up a few posts and you can see the result.

You may need a few more posts in the forum before the option to post pictures is available to you.

@2004Slickside...Wow...Your interior is immaculate! Original upholstery? I have an '04 base Z71 with cloth interior. Bought it secondhand with 163k miles. I thought it was in pretty good shape for the mileage. I've updated it with a few bolt-ons since I bought it.

The dealer that sold it to me replaced the leather bottom of the driver's seat before I bought it.  Honestly, I would just as soon have the cloth like yours - but so many have leather.

Nice pics guys, every time I get on here anymore it makes me sad, Photobucket killed a ton on this sit, I need to figure out how to fix mine. :E:

Google Photos seems to be working again.  That's been my go to since I joined the site.  I miss seeing a lot of the guys who moved to FB and don't post here much anymore.

Get on Flickr. Almost the same routine as PB. And no ads!

Select the picture to share, click the Share Photo icon on the lower right, copy & paste from the BBCode option.
