Post Pics Of Your Avalanche!

Hey RDSIGN, What do you mean the hood deflecor with the engraving? I thought that was not an option. If it is did you order it through GM. I am going to get one and that would be the one to get. Let me know. Thanks!

The American Racing Atlas and American Eagle 121HD are my choices for the Av as well. I am getting the 121HDs...for now http://community.webshots.com/user/BLKJACKAV ;D

Hey BLKJACK, I loved the pictures of your AV, especially the one with your chow standing alongside it. I have a chow as well, and I am sure it can't wait to ride in my AV when I finally get it. ;D

Chevy_Nut ?the GM mud flaps are the way to go they are the same material and color as the cladding , they install easy, fit tight and snug they ?look like part of the truck. pt# 12497727 and 12497728 one front and one rear. The pt# for the engraved deflector is 12497074 I,ll post some pics when I get the deflector
RDSIGN ?;D ;D

LoClass, those are great looking rims on your ride. Did you have to raise the front any so that when you turn you wouldn't hit any part of the wheel well. Your Avy looks level front to back and most others are a little raked. I like to get a set of those rims myself, that's why I am asking. Thanks for any info you can provide :)

I am glad I am not the only one collecting AV toys. I am collecting all of the ones I see/run across, and not just diecast. I also own a VW NB, and I have a substantial collection NB toys, roughly 200-300 so far.

One of the spare rooms in my house looks like a toy store.

Well I guess that answers my question from a previous post... :-X

DoctorT: I did raise the front end of the Av by cranking the torsion bars, but it was not necessary. The wheels are 17x8 American Racing Atlas with 4.5" backspacing, with the stock Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires. There is actually more room between the inside of the tire and wheelwell because of the extra offset. The wheel track of the vehicle increased by about 3" total just by installing the rims.

As far as sitting level, I hate the stock rake, so on both Avs I've owned I cranked the torsion bars and raised the front end about 1.25". It does require an alignment afterward since it messes up the toe in.

from an ant's point of view...

Looks like the infamous A-Team "Worm Cam" shot they always used.

Nice Av....I've got to get a hold of a digital camera so I too can post pics....hmmm.

Hey, Mr. W202AV how about me???
I'll take a few more tomorrow with a good back ground of San Francisco and put it in my signature. Let me know if you can get it.

Iceman, like the looks of the painting you did. Was it done by yourself or at a shop?
The only thing is the thing on front is considered an air deflector vice an airdam. The airdam is on the bottem, below the bumper and is there to create a low pressure effect so hot air can be pulled from the engine compartment.

Mr. Reimer, nice to see you finally have pictures of your wifes second vehicle.
