Has anyone successfully fixed a power front seat that wont move front or backwards? Tilt up and down still works, so I know it's not a fuse. There is nothing in the tracks to prevent it from moving either. Right now, thankfully its in the full back position as I am 6'-2". I cant fold down the midgate and rear seats with the seat all the way back and my wife has to put pillows behind her in order to drive the truck.

Hopefully one of the electrical gurus on this site will respond soon. Only guess I would have is that the motor under the seat controling front to back has died But i guess it could be just the switch too.
As far as folding down the rear seats with the fronts all the way back you may be able to still do that if you do the "headrest mod" on the rear seat headrests so you can remove them easily then fold seats down.
I can't help you with the wife issue unless you try moving the pedals up closer if you can adjust them and the steering wheel too I guess. (maybe a set of really high heeled shoes?  >:D )

Good luck with the fix.

When you engage the controls do you feel any sign of the motor moving? Ie any noise or vibration at all?

Could be a burned up motor or the mechanism that connects the motor to the screws that actually do the work could be broken. The first step is if the motor is working.  You can also try finding the harness connection under the seat and insure it is not the issue by unplugging it, inspecting the pins then plugging it back in. Although I don't believe the connector will have anything to do with the seat movement since I believe it just has the power to the seat on it. But I also haven't looked at the wire diagram for the connector either.

If you are able to pull the seat out you could check for broken wires or check the connector to the motor to insure that connector doesn't have any issues. Sometimes if you have backseat passengers that can get their feet under the seat or have something in the backseat that can get under the seat you could have had an issue with a plug getting unplugged although they are pretty well up in the seat.

There is an engagement click like when it is operating normally...only, there is no seat movement. How many different motors are under the seat? Is there one for tilt up/down and one for forward and back?

I?m having a similar issue. Everything works except forward and back. Mine will move forward/back an inch but the switch is reversed (forward makes it go back and back makes it go forward).
