I have been having a problem with my 2003 Avalance.It starts and runs great.Then out of the blue it won't.Let it sit sometimes a hour sometimes overnight.Then it's up again for a day or a week.Sometimes it acted like it's not on and running.Sometime engine mother light came on saying lack of engine power.Sometimes just the light with nothing said.Sometimes the radio buzzed.Sometimes heat on one side and not the other.Sometimes it spins but don't crank then turn off key and nothing.3 mechanic shops.Quit again and got it towed.Finally found it there.A fuse connection wire was bad going to edu.A fixed connection and another fuse.Had thought and utube what it could be.A bad wire connection fuse box.Hope this helps another person.

It has been doing that a year.Driving me nuts.The mechanics also.So glad this time they figured it out.Such a simple fix but not one a person would think of.A correted wire under fuse box going to fuse that control the ecu.Its running great and I pray it stays that way.Wrote on here because I looked through for advice and figure the info might help someone.Might save a trip to the mechanic shop to.Second time they put on diagnostic machine and no codes.Never a code but same problem over and over never knowing what's next nor if it will crank.
