Problems From Day 1

One of the things you might want to do, is Pull out the Nav system, Exhaust and Air Intake and put it all back to stock. I know you probably don't want to do that, but its one less variable for them to point at.

But by doing this Im admitting that the aftermarket componets are the cause of my problems, when they really are not. But I could put it to factory with in one day if GM says to for the buyback ;)

WOW, Its almost a week later and no returned calls from GM :rolleyes: What a great company :rolleyes: They still havent located a dealership for me to go to, nor will my rep answer the phone or return my calls now. What use is a rep who doesnt help you :mad: So far Im VERY dissappointed in how this is being handled by GM.

A few points:

1. Put your system back to stock. You have no idea if your mods are causing the problem. It's one less variable, as someone else already said. I don't have any of those components and I have no problems with my Av.

2. With all due respect, please quit posting every 45 minutes regrding your various phone calls and/or lack of response with GM. As countless others have mentioned, your problems, on the whole, are very minor. You are blowing this WAY out of proportion, and weakening your case with every post. Chill, dude.

Frank - I usually don't involve myself where I can only offer opinion but I'm making an exception for this... You need to stop pushing GM for one resolution. By calling everyone at GM with every number you can find you are only hurting yourself. It takes more than a day for a major corporation to handle a situation like yours and you've lost sight of that. You read that GM did a buyback of a members AV and you've been fixated on that aspect ever since. You cannot just demand a buyback without the supporting elements that would make that happen, and let me be very blunt with you, you don't have it. Your AV problems are minor. Major to you, but minor in the grand scheme of vehicle problems. By posting every day, several times a day how awful GM and it's people are you only serve to discredit the site and it's members by slanting the take most of us have on the AV and how much we love 'em. I have no problem with you and have hoped for you to reach an agreeable resolution to your problem, but YOU have become unreasonable, in my opinion, about your demands... and that?s the biggest problem you have, you are DEMANDING things, and that my friend will get you nowhere. My advice to you is simple, focus on the solution to the problem. The FIX to the problem, not the legal one, the actual mechanical one, once that occurs you might see things differently. Every now and then remove yourself from a situation and look at it from the outside and it will look different to you. Always consider all sides rationally then proceed in a manner befitting self-respect. Good Luck to you.

well i didnt take the tyme to read through every reply to see if someone already told you this but...my foglight was full of water too and I tookmy 02 AV back to the dealer in Sioux Falls , SD and they replaced it under warranty :D

By the way in case you guys dont recognize my name i am a new member (y)
