Programing motorized mirrors for reverse

I have installed a set of fully functional motorized mirrors on my 03 avalanche. All is functining well except the power fold and the curb function for reverse. I know I need the dealer to program the power fold. Will the dealer also have to program the curb function for reverse?

I would assume so. It can be switched on and off for each mirror on mine.... Do you have the seat memory functions? I ask because the curb view position is, I believe, stored in there.....

I would think the service tech can enable it. It is in the body control module BCM where most of the DIC features are. If the mirrors connected to standard GM wiring to the DDM and FPDM then I believe it can be done with the scan tool. Thats the basics without getting into the Serial data 2 bus.
