Thanks to all of your comments on buying an Avalanche. I just drove mine home yesterday. I could'nt be happier with this truck. Even my wife is happy. (Wow) :eek:

Got to be a record. Brought home yesterday and already modded the exhaust. Welcome to the club.
 
Congrat's on your purchase. And it's good to hear that your wife likes it too - as does mine - sometimes I think that she loves that truck more than I do! Such 'pro-Av' women ought to get together and counsel those sadly lost gals who don't share such Av enthusiasm!
 
Congrats and definitely get buy in from the wife. You'll need it for the modifications you'll be doing. :)

One good approach is, air management modification = better gas mileage = more savings $$$ (oh yeah, and it will make the AV go faster).

I remember my first week, ? 5 trips to the market, 5 times to work, twice to BK?s drive thru.... in two days!!

This curious phase ends at your first Fuel stop!!! :D

The ego boost i get from driving this monster far out ways the shock at the fuel pump. I get sooo many stares ;D Maybe 'cuz mine is black/black and lifted.

God how I love this truck!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D

Yes I am Bi-Coastal. I live in Royal Palm Florida (where my wife and daughter are) and work in San Francisco. I have the Av in SF right now but my wife wants to have it in Florida. Maybe I need another? LOL
