Pumpkin Skid Plates For The AV?

This past weekend I was flipping through a 4x4 mag and noticed an ad that had a bolt on pumpkin protector for Jeeps.

I have a couple of questions

1) Does anyone have experience if these are of value?

2) Has anyone seen these built for the AV?
