Questions on parts?

Have an 02 z71 av, looking to swap the hood an have been trying to find a new heavy duty front bumper but I only find those parts for av w/o cladding what gives .... Do these parts fit on av with cladding or am I just chasing a white whale now.

Swap hood/bumper to what? Replacements or new custom fancy?

Cladded avalanches (2002 - 2006) are rare breeds and replacement and aftermarket parts hard to find.

note: 2003 - 2006 had the WBH option which was avys WITHOUT BODY HARDWARE aka cladding. they looked like the chevy pickups/burbs of the day.

Now if you want to change it to look like an HD Chevy truck you will need to replace entire front end; fenders etc but then the fenders will not match the doors. so a lot of customizing work would be required to remove all the lower cladding to make it match.

Years ago; companies made custom fiberglass hoods & Welded Bumpers check this section and mods; Exterior & Mods; Bumpers.

So today with your 2002 which only came in cladded you will have to find one USED and maybe find custom bumper shop to make you a bumper.

Want a aftermarket ram air hood an to swap the plastic pos front bumper to all steel off road application!!!! So basically I'm sol on being able to customize my avy.

Peeps might still make custom fab bumpers you have to look or find local shop.
As for hood... goodmark maybe if they still make it or take to custom auto shop to chop yours up and make it what ya want.
