Is your system factory or aftermarket? This info would be helpful for me to do some checking for you. (y)

It is the Stock Radio that came with the Av.

It does not do it on all the stations. Just the ones I listen to. ;D

OK I will see what I can find out. I will say it sounds like a ground issue or a bad noise suppressor in the Radio circuit - Gm is having some problems with the Radios and I believe they are just replacing the units for several issues. You might want to call your dealer and check into it.

I had a similar problem with an 88 Blazer. It turned out that a ground wire had become loose over time. Hope this helps.

If I where you, I would set the radio to a station that this happens to every time, Bring it to the service department and tell them, before your warranty runs out. Then take the radio back out when you get home and replace it with a good aftermarket HU.
;D :D ;) >:D ;D :D ;) >:D
Whatever you do, Hurry!

Thanks for the input guys. (y)

I have an appointment to see the dealer tomorrow.
I saved all for one visit:

1. Radio Problem
2. Vibrating sound on sensor over driver's seat
3. Flooded Foglights
4. A little front end sound when cold.

Will post outcome

I'll be really interested in what you find here. Radio noise is generally caused by turning something on and off (such as a brake light switch that causes a pop), or by an inherently noisy electrical device (such a a DC motor or flasher). Have you added anything to the brake light circuit - flashing center brake light, trailer brake controller, LED lamps, etc. I guess it could be a defective brake light switch, or may have to do with the ABS. Please post your dealers findings . . . inquiring minds want to know!

Check your rear window before you go to the service center. There as been a problem with the corners cracking. Mine is on order right now.

 My Brake light switch DOES pop when pushed. That could be it.
No, I haven't put anything extra on the brake light circuit.

Thanks for the advice on the rear window. Will check in the morning. (y)

Thanks again to all

Well My Ave is back from my friendly nieghborhood dealer and.....................................
.......Guess What?!

They couldn't hear the radio do anything wrong. They checked the brake light switch and apparently found nothing. :(
Oh Yeah.. It still makes the sound. :2:

I will live with it for now. It does it less than before, of course it is on the station that I listen too.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Hope the sound will magically go away.

;)
