Have it in my 13 LTZ for a week
Now...so far it’s great
No codes No lights
Mileage appears to be +3 around town
19 on the highway @ 55
Smoother idle...no V4
I hope it lasts!

I have read on here in this section about the RANGE and it seems to be popular..

Except I think it can kill a battery if left in for long periods without starting.

Yep this is correct especially in the winter.

As for the Range I have one as well. Definitely a decrease in highway mileage on my side but I'll take the small loss for the longevity of the block.

Ordered one today. 10 year owner from new. Hope it works like they say. I have no issues after 175K, just tired of picking M5 all the time to disable it for free. Maybe picking M all the time has helped me all along. I do notice the V4 shutter when I have it in D for highway driving, which I hate. Many reviews shows it helps with transmission shifting as well.

About 5 years ago I was having problems with the lifters collapsing even after installing new ones. I found a website that caught my attention and seemed legit. One sends in the ECM and you get it back within the week. For $50 which includes return shipping. They will disable the AFM mode. Please read in total. This guy researched alot into the AFM and really knows his stuff.

In addition I have never had any issues since it is a GM program he is using. Stay away from aftermarket programs because without having a scanner hooked up at the same time, you have no idea what else it may be affecting.

So now we are back to square one. As in don't use the Range AFM disabler? I have it at my desk right now, and once again I ask. How can thousands of Chevy drivers that sue the Range AFM disabler, be wrong.

Its like if I do this disabler, than I'm literally making my truck a ticking time bomb? What about all thr positive reviews of using it for 5 years and no problems.

So Holly Performance, people that know engines makes this disabler, have sold thousands of these devices, and hell, maybe 10's of thousands, and Im supposed to trust some random guy to do something like this for me with no reviews, nothing to back him, up?. And I'm taking parts out of truck and sending it to someone as well?
