Hey guys and gals! Anyone out there using the Range Tuner in the ODB? I got mine in and it works fantastic! It shuts down the Active fuel management and keeps it in 8cyl all the time. My trucks mpg also went up by 3 mpg and I’m saving my lifters! Let me know what y’all think?
 
There are many older threads covering members who have used this device. Some believe it works great other have had issues with it draining the battery if their AV is parked for several days. I think it talks in fine print in the instructions to unplug it if you plan to park your AV for an extended time.
 
Mine worked great when I had my Avy, no battery drain. Avy is gone now and I just listed the Range unit for sale here on the site.
 
Best thing I did on my 2011. Installed Range about 4 months ago. I tow a 5000 lb. travel trailer and it makes a world of difference.

I am faced with power loss and check engine light…and there's my truck - seriously, I am going the route of Range and look forward to joining the full-time V8 portion of this club!

I totally agree with you and the Range….wow - all the idiot lights are gone…and I'm feeling a lot less like an idiot too….
